Timberline offers service with 2 high speed quad chair lifts that allow for maximum runs on hard summer snow. You will get all the runs and quality that you have come to expect from Timberline and Tichy Racing; the PREMIER summer camp in North America.
A 11 day Tichy Racing camp offers a wide variety of instruction, flexibility and special care to suit each racers needs. Some session are suitable for racers as young as 10 years old; other sessions offer 10 day training to an adult friendly environment.

Early departure from Government Camp on day #10 between 2:00 and 6:00 PM
Regular departure from Government Camp on day #11 between 7:00 and 10:00 AM

Schedule of daily events

Schedule2006The schedule for all 11 day sessions is very similar. Small adjustments may need to be made for weather and snow conditions. Tichy Racing strongly believes that this 11 day session format gives the most to each athlete with just the right amount on snow and enough time off to get the most out of each training day.

Typical 11 Day Camp Schedule
Day 1: Arrival day
Day 2: SL free skiing, drills and short course segments
Day 3-4: SL gates, SL morning drills and 1:1 instructions
Day 5: GS drills & short course segments
Day 6: Planned full day off activity (only if we can ski 8 days)
Day 7-8: GS gates, GS morning drills and 1:1 instructions
Day 9: GS or SL full day gate training with 1:1 instructions
Day 10: SL full day gate training, timed runs & 1:1 instructions
Day 11: Departure day

Emphasis at camp

emphasisTichy Racing coaches only the latest slalom and giant slalom technique. All technique is demonstrated by active internationally ranked racers. We focus on quality, productivity and safety each day on and off the mountain. Tichy Racing staff uses the newest coaching aids and training tools, including high quality video review, cordless digital timing equipment, new SPM 27 mm gates and GS panels. Safe and reliable transportation is provided for all daily participants.

Activities at camp

activitiesEach session will include an assortment of the following activities: ice hockey, capture the flag, touch football, ultimate frisbee, museum visit, tennis lessons and local cultural adventures. Racing related activities will consist of daily dryland conditioning, afternoon video review, ski tuning and race strategy all aimed at building a better athlete for the upcoming season and years to come.
All activities are supervised and conducted in a safe and time tested environment.

Meals & Lodging

mealsAll lodging and meals will be provided in Government camp and courtesy of the Tichy Racing Coaching staff. You will experience a wonderful family style atmosphere and will be catered to on and off the ski hill. This is not your typical camp environment; sleeping arrangements are very comfortable and spacious.

RegistrationRegistration is quick and easy. You can register one of three ways: 1) use the online registration form, 2) email Martin Tichy at <info@tichyracing.com>, 3) call the Tichy Racing office at (503) 272-3135 or Martin on his mobile at (503) 704-0002. With a $100 deposit to your credit card your attendance will be secured. This process is quick and easy. Do not hesitate to register soon as attendance is limited is each camp/session to maximize training quality for all participants.
Tichy Racing staff consist of 7 full time coaches. We strive for a 6:1 racer to coach ratio during Summer Ski 2007. Our training quality is unmatched by any other race camp.

coachDuring all Tichy Racing Camps our coaches and staff work endlessly to provide the very best conditions and environment to all athletes on and off the hill. The coaches that you get to know on the ski hill also work with you during the afternoon at dryland, video sessions, at ski preparation, etc. Every aspect of ski camp is supervised by our full time staff and coaches. We strive to make each racer feel like they are part of our large family; this environment is proven to heighten the enjoyment of each participant and accelerate the absorption of instructions.

Prices, Release forms & Guarantee

pricesTichy Racing offers unmatched quality, instruction and attention to detail and safety. The cost for each 11 day camp is $1595. Register early and save almost $150 per session. Early registraion price is $1450 and MUST be paid in full by Feb. 15, 2008
